NEW ORLEANS (AP) - The Small Business Administration will take over operation of a disaster recovery center set up in New Orleans after Hurricane Isaac.
The center had been administered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency. It will become an SBA Disaster Loan Outreach Center beginning on Monday.
SBA representatives can answer questions, explain the application process and help Isaac victims apply for low-interest disaster loans.
The center is at the East New Orleans Branch Library, 5641 Read Blvd.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. The office is closed on Fridays and Sundays. It also will be closed Thursday in observance of Thanksgiving.
Isaac struck Aug. 28.
