OAKLAND, CA - Drew Brees led the Saints on scoring drives of 80 and 90 yards, guiding the black-and-gold to a 21-7 halftime lead over the Oakland Raiders. Brees connected with Jimmy Graham on a one-yard touchdown, before finding Lance Moore on a 38-yard scoring strike.
Safety Malcolm Jenkins returned an interception 55 yards for another New Orleans (4-5) touchdown. Roman Harper also intercepted a Carson Palmer pass in the endzone, while defensive end Will Smith produced his fifth sack of the season to end the half.
The Saints have just outgained the Raiders 205 to 203 in total yardage, but the two turnovers have made the biggest difference so far. Brees completed 12-of-17 passes for 150 yards and the two touchdowns.
