Woman sought in French Quarter robbery & beating

New Orleans, La.- New Orleans Police work to track down the people who allegedly lured a man out of a Bourbon Street nightclub and robbed him.

Investigators say around 8 p.m. Sunday the couple met the victim inside the club and offered to sell him drugs.

The man left the club with the woman. When he gave her cash at the intersection of Bienville and Burgundy streets, an unknown group of men and women hit him in the head and face.

The attackers made off with $600 and the victim's cell phone.

Doctors treated the man for minor cuts and officers gave him a summons for attempting to purchase narcotics.

Investigators are hoping surveillance video will lead to a tip identifying the woman involved in the robbery and beating.
