Firefighters battle three-alarm blaze at NASA facility

New Orleans, La. -

A fire broke out at NASA's Michoud Assembly Facility Tuesday night, drawing 21 NOFD units to the scene before they were able to bring it under control at 11:31pm.

NOFD tells FOX 8 News the fire started around 8:20 p.m. as a film production crew was working on setting up a soundstage in a building, located in the 13800 block of Old Gentilly Road.  No injuries have been reported.

It's not known what started the blaze, which evolved into a three-alarm response by NOFD.  No firefighters are reported injured.
