New Orleans, La.- Police are investigating a Sunday morning shooting in the 5100 block of General DeGaulle Drive.
It happened shortly before 6:30 a.m.
Investigators say an unidentified man was located lying in a parking lot suffering from several gunshot wounds to the body.
He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Investigators are currently in the process of gathering evidence and information to identify the person or persons responsible in the incident, as well as a motive.
In the meantime, anyone with information on this shooting is urged to call CRIMESTOPPERS at 822-1111.
