Three inmates escaped from tents in the temporary housing center of Orleans Parish Prison, according to a spokesperson with the Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office.

A guard says he saw them jumping over a fence around 9 p.m. on Sunday.

The missing inmates are all African-American.  They have been identified as 25-year-old Reginald Batiste, 5-foot-11, 140 pounds; 51-year-old Michael Washington, 5-foot-10, 175 pounds; 23-year-old Domonique Battle, 5-foot-10, 140 pounds.

Deputies believe at least one of the men was injured when jumping over razors lining the fence.

They were being held in jail on mostly drug charges.

If you have any information on their whereabouts, call Crimestoppers at 822-1111.
