Mandeville, La. - Police in Mandeville arrested two men Thanksgiving night for driving drunk, police say.
According to a spokesman for the Mandeville Police Department, Stephen Flint, 30, of Lacombe and Michael Donahue Miller, 21, of Mandeville were booked with DWI as well as other related charges; for driving the same vehicle.
Police say the incident started at the Red Barn Pub where the pair, reportedly accompanied by a fellow-intoxicated third party/vehicle owner got into a tan jeep an attempted to drive away from the Pub.
Witnesses reported seeing Flint behind the wheel of the jeep when it struck the building, causing minor damage. This is when fellow passenger Michael Miller took Flint's place in the drive's seat.
Responding officers located the group within minutes at the Barley Oak Draught Haus which is located just a few blocks away from the Pub. After collecting several witness accounts, including the vehicle owner's; Flint and Miller were taken into custody.
