Hickman: Looking ahead to Atlanta

A couple of bits of lagniappe to remember when the Saints visit the Falcons Thursday night in Atlanta.

Math is in favor of the Black and Gold. The Saints have handed the 10-1 Falcons three of their last four losses.  The Saints have won all but two of the last 13 meetings between the two teams, including the week 10 victory at the Mercedes Benz Superdome -- the Falcons' ONLY loss of the season.

And, one more stat: five of the last seven contests have been decided by four points or fewer, three by a field goal's margin.

It will be tight. It will be chippy. But, the 5-6 Saints are desperate for a win. And, according to the match, I like their chances on the road.
