Beer delivery truck stolen in French Quarter


New Orleans, LA - Members of the New Orleans Police Department are asking for the public's help in locating a stolen beer delivery truck. The truck was taken Wednesday around 8:00 a.m. in the 600 block of Decatur Street.

According to police, the driver of the Crescent Crowned owned truck, parked the vehicle in front of a business in the 600 block of Decatur Street to make a delivery. When the driver returned, the truck was gone. The driver told detectives that the keys were left inside and the doors were unlocked.

Police are working to obtain suspect information.

The truck is described as a 2006 International Truck white, that is blue and yellow colored. It has "miller beer" written on each side of the rear cargo area. The truck's license plate number is b710261.
