One dead, three injured in Gert Town shooting

New Orleans, La.- Police say a woman is dead and three adults are injured after a shooting Saturday morning in the 2800 block of South Roman Street.

The shooting happened at approximately 2:40 a.m.

Investigators found the woman lying on the sidewalk shot several times.  She died on the scene. 

The three other victims, two men and one woman, were transported to the hospital. 

A 32-year-old woman was shot to the arm and is listed in stable condition.  One man was shot to the body and is also listed in stable condition. 

The other man was shot to the head and is currently listed in critical condition.

Investigators believe the victims and suspect were outside a house when an argument began at which time the male suspect involved in the argument pulled out a gun, shot all four victims and fled the scene.

The incident is still under investigation at this time and detectives are in the process of investigating promising leads.
