New Orleans, La. - The NOPD is searching for a man they say shot and killed a 40 year-old woman, and then shot her 25 year-old daughter multiple times.
Police say around 10pm Monday, 22-year-old Keith Phillips shot 40 year-old Tiesha Nix and her 25-year-old daughter Renesha Nix.
Rensha Nix and her estranged boyfriend Keith Phillips were involved in an argument in the 6800 block of Parc Brittany.
Nix then called her mother to pick her up from her residence to avoid a physical altercation with Phillips. Tiesha Nix arrived to pick up her daughter when she observed the altercation. Without notice Phillips turned to Tiesha Nix and shot her once in the head.
Phillips then turned and shot Renesha Nix multiple times to her body. Phillips fled the area on foot. Tiesha Nix was pronounced dead on the scene while Renesha Nix was transported to the hospital where she is listed in critical condition.
