New Orleans, La. - In response to record crowds and issues with unsupervised youth, City Park has instituted a Minor Escort Policy that will begin Friday, December 7th and run through the end of Celebration in the Oaks on January 1, 2013.
All minors age 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult 21 years or older. Anyone 21 years or younger should be prepared to show a driver's license, state identification card or passport before purchasing a ticket for entry.
City Park CEO Bob Becker said "The residents of southeast Louisiana have enjoyed the family atmosphere of Celebration in the Oaks for decades. By instituting the Minor Escort Policy, we believe the Celebration tradition will continue for generations to come."
