Police search for missing teen

New Orleans, La.- Police are searching for 14-year-old Marlaya Miller, who commonly goes by the nickname "Lady", and was last seen by her mother Thursday night. 

Investigators say Miller's mother said she saw her daughter at approximately 8:15 p.m. leaving her house in the 1700 block of Pauline Street after having recent disciplinary problems with her.    

Her mother advised police that she became concerned when she was unable to contact her and has not seen or heard from her since.  

Miller is described as an African-American female with brown hair, approximately 5'6" tall and weighing about 189 pounds.  She was last seen wearing her school uniform, a blue polo shirt, and a black, blue and grey skirt with black and blue boots.

Anyone with any information on Miller's whereabouts is urged to call CRIMESTOPPERS at 822-1111.
