Former Plaquemines Parish Sheriff Jiff Hingle's sentencing gets delayed for a fifth time.

After hearing from the government and Hingle's attorney Wednesday morning, Judge Sarah Vance continued the sentencing to June 26th of next year.

A year ago, Hingle admitted to receiving 20-thousand dollars from businessman Aaron Bennett after approving hundreds of thousands in payments to Bennett's company.

Prosecutors are trying to get more information out of Hingle that could help other investigations.
