Police investigate Norco shooting

Norco, La.- Police are searching for three black males who shot and killed Jay Bertucci, 21, at his home on Saturday.

Shortly after 11 p.m., deputies located Bertucci lying on the floor with a single gunshot wound to his chest. Bertucci was pronounced dead on the scene.

Investigators say Bertucci was home with two other people when he heard a knock at the door and when he answered the door, a black male pointed a handgun at him.

Bertucci attempted to grab the gun when the gun fired striking Bertucci in the chest.

The suspect who knocked on the door, along with two other suspects, outside of the door then fled the scene on foot.

Police describe the suspects as three black males, two the of the males wore black "hoodies" and one of them had a bandana covering his face.

This incident remains under investigation.
