Police are investigating the shooting death of an 18-year-old man in the Milan area.
FOX 8 News received this press release on the incident from NOPD Monday afternoon:
An 18-year-old man was killed after a shooting this afternoon in the Milan Neighborhood. The name of the man has not been released pending notification of family members.
The shooting happened at approximately 3:45 P.M., at the intersection of Delachaise and LaSalle Streets.
The man was found shot multiple times to the body lying on the ground. He died at the hospital.
The Lead Homicide Detective in this case is Candice Preston.
