According to Fox News.com, a three-time
U.S. Olympian has reportedly spent the last year working as a $600-per-hour
call girl, a double life she now classifies as a "huge mistake."
The Smoking Gun reports that runner Suzy Favor Hamilton, 44, has been
employed with one of Las Vegas' premier escort
agencies since last December and has booked dozens of "dates" there and
elsewhere throughout the United States,
including Los Angeles, Chicago
and Houston.
Hamilton, who has been featured in a Nike television commercial and ongoing
promotional work for Disney, initially denied any connection to Haley Heston's
Private Collection. The married mother of a 7-year-old girl later acknowledged
her work as "Kelly," the website reports.
"I take full responsibility for my mistakes. I'm not the victim and I'm not
going that route," Favor Hamilton told The Smoking Gun. "I'm owning up to what
I did. I would not blame anybody except myself." She added, "Everybody in this
world makes mistakes. I made a huge mistake. Huge."
Hamilton, who used the alias "Kelly Lundy," shared her true identity with
several male clients.
The former Olympian characterized the escort business as "exciting" and a
diversion from her Wisconsin real estate
brokerage with her 44-year-old husband, Mark, who is aware of her illicit
business.
"He tried, he tried to get me to stop," Hamilton told the website. "He wasn't
supportive of this at all."
