New Orleans, La. - Homicide detectives with the New Orleans Police Department are investigating an early-morning shooting that left one man dead.
The incident occurred Monday around 1:45 a.m. in the 2900 block of Louisiana Avenue.
The victim has been identified as 42-year-old Lester Adams. Police say that Adams was shot multiple times and later died at the hospital.
