NOPD searching for missing teen

New Orleans, La - The New Orleans Police Department needs your help asking for the public's help in locating a missing teenage girl.

Mickell Brieana Montgomery, 16, was last seen December 27 at her father's house located in the 1600 block of Caton Street in Gentilly.

Police say that Montgomery's mother became very concerned of her daughter's whereabouts. She says that this is first time that she has gone missing and has not been seen or heard from.

Montgomery is described as an African American female. She is five-feet-one in height and weighs 125 pounds.  She was last seen wearing a navy blue jacket, gray jogging pants and brown boots. She has several stars tattooed on her right wrist.
