No fatal accidents in Louisiana overnight on New Year's Eve

No fatal accidents overnight on New Year's eve in LA-WVUE FOX 8 Photo

Baton Rouge, LA- Louisiana State Police say troopers did not investigate a single fatal crash statewide in the critical hours of New Year's Eve night or New Year's Day.

Troop A in Baton Rouge reported just one fatal accident Monday afternoon. The one-car accident happened in East Feliciana Parish, killing a 44-year-old Baton Rouge resident.

Leading up to the New Year's holiday, State Police urged drivers to make safety a priority and particular to avoid drinking and driving.
