St. Rose, La- A woman visiting relatives in St. Rose for the holidays offers up a reward for her lost dog.

Barbara Damitz of Austin says her 2-year-old female Airedale, Caera, was spooked by fireworks on New Year's Eve. The dog bolted from the home where the family was staying on Riverwood Drive in the River Wood Estate subdivision.

The Humane Society of Louisiana and the Damitz family are offering a $150 reward for Caera's safe return.

Caera is fixed and microchipped.

If you find the lost dog or know where she may be located, you are asked to call the Humane Society of Louisiana 1-888-6-HUMANE or contact Chris Walther at 504-722-7189.
