Man killed in early Sunday morning shooting identified


New Orleans, La.-  The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a 25-year-old man dead early Sunday morning.

The Orleans Parish Coroner's office identified the victim as 25-year-old Joshua Walker.

It happened shortly after 1 a.m. in the 3400 block of Audubon Court.

Officers found Walker lying in the street suffering from several gunshot wounds to his body. 

He was pronounced dead on the scene.  

No suspects or motives have been identified at this time.
