NOPD searching for missing teenager


New Orleans, La -- The New Orleans Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a missing 14-year-old girl. Mya Foster was last seen by her mother, Monday at 7:30 a.m. in the 10000 block of Curran Boulevard.

Police say that Foster boarded a school bus that morning but never returned the following evening. She has not been seen or heard from since and she may be in the Slidell area.

Foster is described as an African-American female with a dark complexion and thin build. She is 5'8" tall and weighs 130 pounds. She wears glasses and has medium-length straight black hair. She was last seen wearing a green shirt, black sweater and khaki pants.
