New Orleans, La. – The Hornets couldn't stop James Harden's streak of 13 consecutive games with 25 points, but they did end the Houston Rockets' six-game winning streak and extend their own to a season-long three games.

Unlike the previous two wins, Eric Gordon was not the featured piece of the performance.  He contributed just five points on 2-of-12 shooting but his mere presence opened up the floor for a bevy of teammates -- Greivis Vasquez, Jason Smith, and Roger Mason, Jr. all had 17 points.  Robin Lopez also contributed 14 points.

Monty Williams' young team showed resilience.  Down 11 in the third quarter, they rallied to take the lead with just over six minutes left in the game and held on to the lead down the stretch, ultimately winning 88-79.

Up next for the Bees, a visit from the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday night.  The T'Wolves outscored the Hornets 113-102 in a mid-December shootout in Minneapolis.

Today's work was much lighter between the Saints and Chargers was much lighter. They wore no pads only shells and helmets, and they only practiced two hours instead of two and a half like Thursday. While they certainly weren't perfect, overall the Saints had much better execution today than Thursday.  "I thought overall it was a little bit crisper today than yesterday.
