FOX 8 News received this press release from the Houma Police Department Thursday afternoon:
On December 23, 2012 at approximately 1:30am Houma Police investigated a shooting in front of the City Club, 7861 Main Street where 5 (five) people were struck identified as being three males and one female who sustained gunshot wounds to their lower torso. A police officer was also struck in his boot but wasn't injured.
The shooter was identified as Deandre Woodside who later turned himself in to detectives. He was charged with five counts of attempted first degree murder.
On January 09, 2013 Detectives located Allan Barrio, B/M, DOB 6-13-92, of Crescent Blvd., and issued him a summons for inciting a Riot. This summons was a result of the City Club shooting. Allan Barrio was issued the summons because he had involvement with the fight that occurred prior to the shooting.
