Hornets erase 18-point deficit, win fourth straight

New Orleans, La. - The Hornets trailed by as many as 18 points in the first half but stormed back to claim a 104-92 victory over the Timberwolves Friday night, posting their fourth straight win in the process.

Six Hornets were in double figures scoring, with Greivis Vasquez leading the way with 18 points and 13 assists.  Eric Gordon also scored 16, and the team is now 5-1 in games he has played in this season.  Jason Smith provided a big spark off the bench, hitting seven of his eight attempts for 14 points

The Hornets (11-25) extended their longest win streak of the season despite shooting just nine free throws, compared to 33 for Minnesota (16-17).

New Orleans now hits the road for three games, starting Sunday at the Knicks.
