Belle Chasse, La.- A woman who was arrested in Plaquemines Parish says a Plaquemines deputy sexually assaulted her.
Deputy Elijah Gary has been booked with sexual battery and malfeasance in office.
In November, the criminal investigations bureau took on a complaint that Gary sexually assaulted a woman while he was processing her as a prisoner.
Investigators have concluded there's enough evidence to arrest Gary.
The deputy, who has been with the sheriff's office since 2007, is being held on a 50 thousand dollar bond.
