Covington, La. - A vacant home went up in flames around 2am near Covington.
It happened near the intersection of River Road and Highway 437.
Fire crews say the structure was fully engulfed when they arrived.
Four fire engines, one rescue unit and a 5,000-gallon water truck responded to battle the blaze, with a total of 14 personnel.
The fire was under control at 3:10 a.m., but firefighters were still on the site battling hotspots as of 8 a.m.
Investigators still are trying to pinpoint the cause of the fire.
