BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Gov. Bobby Jindal has made two appointments the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.
The 11-member board oversees training and licensing of registered nurses and advanced practice registered nurses.
Appointed by the governor were Laura Bonanno of Mandeville and Demetrius Porche of New Orleans.
Bonanno is a certified nurse anesthetist and program director of the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing Nurse Anesthesia Program.
Porche is a registered nurse and the dean of the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center.
