Police have arrested a 15-year-old boy on aggravated battery charges linked to the shootings of five people on MLK Day.  Now investigators hope members of the public will help them find several other suspects.

NOPD Superintendent Ronal Serpas made the announcement during a news conference Friday afternoon.

The shooting happened around 1:15 p.m. Monday at the intersection of MLK Boulevard and Lasalle Street, about half an hour after the annual Martin Luther King Jr. march passed the location.

All the victims were gathered around a store at the intersection.  They are males between 17 and 18 years of age, and are none of their wounds were life threatening.  The identities of the victims have not been released.

Surveillance video from the store showed a white car driving up to the group. An occupant shot at the group from the car's sunroof before the car drove off.

"We know a lot about this case and we know there's at least two or three other people in that car," Serpas told reporters.  "You know who you are. Your mom and dad know who you are. Turn yourself in because we are not going to stop until we find you."

Call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 if you have any information that can help detectives.

FOOTBALL Look at the cover pic for this post, I look miserable. You know what, I was!! The week leading up to the Saints-Vikings game was awful weather-wise. Below zero temperatures on Friday and Saturday. No one should have to deal with this nastiness. Next week, fans of New England, Philadelphia, and corporate types will be dealing with this blustery weather. But they shouldn't have to. This game should be a relief from the cold, a vacation with shorts involved. I know Minneapoli...
