The Hornets shot just 38.8 percent Friday night en route to a 100-82 loss to the Houston Rockets.
Eric Gordon scored 20 points for the Hornets (14-29) while Ryan Anderson scored 19 off the bench. However, the team turned the ball over 17 times and made just three 3-point shots.
James Harden led the Rockets (23-22) with a game-high 30 points.
New Orleans now hits the road for a five-game swing beginning on Sunday at the Memphis Grizzlies.
