New Orleans, La - Statements from NFL, Mercedes-Benz Superdome and Entergy spokesmen were issued concerning the power outage during Super Bowl XLVII.
The following is from Eric Eagan, Mercedes-Benz Superdome spokesman:
"Power has been restored. We sincerely apologize for the incident."
The following is from an NFL spokesperson:
"Stadium authorities are investigating the cause of the power outage. We will have more information as it becomes available."
The following is from Entergy Spokesperson, Phillip Allison:
"At all times, Entergy's distribution and transmission feeders were serving the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. We continue working with Superdome personnel to address any outstanding issues."

New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu issued the following statement:
"The power outage was an unfortunate moment in what has been an otherwise shining Super Bowl week for the City of New Orleans. In the coming days, I expect a full after action report from all parties involved. For us, the Super Bowl isn't over until the last visitor leaves town, so we're focused on continuing to show our visitors a good time."
