LSU shining on National Signing Day

Baton Rouge, La. - National Signing Day is well underway and LSU, as expected, if off and running to a fine start.

It's a group that includes two 5-star players and no signee rated less than a 3-star. Here's the list of signed letters of intent so far:

    Former Chalmette star Mitchell Robinson is taking the road less traveled on his path to the NBA Draft. According to a report by Yahoo Sports, the 7-foot center will skip college, and focus on preparing for the 2018 NBA Draft. Robinson, who led the Owls to a 5A state semi-final berth, enrolled at Western Kentucky for two weeks this summer. He left the school, and got a release from the Hilltoppers.     Throughout the summer and into training camp Ed Orgeron said if the season started today, Danny Etling would be his starting quarterback. Tuesday night, Coach O went a step further naming Etling the starter against BYU. “Sunday, we watched all of the tape, and we made the decision to announce Danny as our starting quarterback.
