New Orleans, La.- A Bayou St. John neighborhood resident came face to face with a gun when the resident startled a burglar Wednesday afternoon.
New Orleans police say the victim came home to the house in the 2800 block of Bell St. and just as the resident opened the door confronted an intruder. Police say the alleged burglar pointed a gun at the resident then made a run for it.
Investigators say the aggravated burglary happened on the same day as two other home burglaries in the neighborhood. Victims reported burglaries at two homes in the 2700 hundred block of Bell St.
