Judge rules in tainted Chinese drywall lawsuit settlement


New Orleans, La. - Thousands of Chinese drywall victims find out they'll get some relief.

Thursday, Federal Judge Eldon Fallon approved five class action settlements with manufacturers, builders, suppliers and installers of the tainted drywall..

The settlements, worth about one point one billion dollars, will benefit more than ten thousand property owners.

Thousands of homeowners filed suit because the tainted drywall caused corrosion and other damage to their homes between.
