Police investigate Kenner murder

Kenner, La.-The Kenner Police Department is investigating an overnight murder Saturday. 

Police were called to the hospital in Kenner around 10:45 p.m. Saturday in reference to a man who was dropped off at the emergency room with a gunshot wound to the leg. 

Investigators learned that 24-year-old Brandon Joseph of Kenner had arrived at the location and reported he had been shot prior to succumbing to his injuries.   

The Kenner Police Department is currently attempting to determine who dropped Joseph off at the hospital, where he was shot, if he had been involved or perpetrated a crime prior to being shot or if he was the random victim of a shooting. 

No motive has been determined at this time.
