As a cold front passes through the area this morning, temps and dew points have dropped and winds have picked up from the north. This means showers will develop and move though SE LA today.
There will be frequent breaks in the rain and hopefully the timing can work in favor of Lundi Gras activities and parades this evening. It won't be nearly as warm and humid as Sunday with temperatures hang in the 60s today.
Tuesday could potentially be a bit drier as the front will push back northward as a warm front, keeping the bulk of the rain north of the metro area.
This would, however, place us back in the warmer and more humid air for Mardi Gras. A stronger cold front finally pushes through Tuesday night, dropping temperatures for Ash Wednesday.
