Columbia, SC - The LSU Tigers rode Johnny O'Bryant III to a dominant victory over a struggling South Carolina team, 64-46.
The sophomore forward racked up a career high 30 points, as well as 10 rebounds with guard Andre Stringer contributing 12 points as the only other Tiger in double digits. The Gamecocks shot just 28% from the field and was out rebounded, 43-29. LSU pulled away in the second half, outscoring South Carolina 38-22 in the period.
Thursday evening was the first of three games LSU will be played in six days. Up next for the Tigers is 7-16 Mississippi State in Baton Rouge on Saturday.
