Businessman sentenced in NOAH theft


New Orleans, La.- A judge sentences a Harvey businessman who stole more than 115 thousand dollars from a post-Katrina home remediation program to two years in prison.

Richard Hall worked as a conractor for the New Orleans Affordable Homeownership, also known as "NOAH."

Last year, he pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy and one count of theft from a program receiving federal funds.

In addition to prison time, Hall will spend three years on probation, pay restitution and another 30 thousand dollars in fines.
