NOPD asks public's help in finding missing woman

FOX 8 received this news release from the New Orleans Police Department Thursday evening:

Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating 38-year-old Angela Melancon, who was last seen on February 4th, at approximately 12:30 A.M., leaving work in the 100 block of Bourbon Street.  Melancon has not been seen nor heard from since.  

Melancon is described as a Caucasian female, approximately 5'6" in height, approximately 110 pounds and having long black hair with brown eyes.  Melancon has a tattoo of a rosary on her right abdomen, a tattoo of a halo on her left wrist and a tattoo of a halo with wings on the back of her neck.  Melancon also has piercings on her right eyebrow and a lip piercing on her bottom lip.    

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Melancon is asked to call 821-2222. 

EDITOR'S NOTE: Angela Melancon has been found in good health Tuesday by NOPD.  A second woman reported missing in this report was found by NOPD last Friday.
