FOX 8 received this news release from NOPD Friday afternoon:
On Sunday, February 10, 2013 at 10:00pm, the victim was walking in the neutral ground [at Claiborne and Delachaise] when unknown woman approached. The woman distracted the victim at which time an unknown man struck the victim to the face with his elbow causing a laceration to the face, scratches and a broken nose. After the victim fell to the ground, the man stole her back pack with per belongs and the unknown man and woman fled on foot.
