New Orleans, La. -
Police are on the scene of a homicide in Central City.
It happened shortly before 8:30 p.m. Sunday in the 2500 block of S. Galvez St.
"Officers located the man lying in the street suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his body," reads a news release from NOPD. He was pronounced dead on the scene."
The Orleans Parish Coroner's identifies the victim as 24-year-old Carl May.
