Houma, La. - A 19-year-old Houma man has been arrested on sexual battery charges involving a 13-year-old girl. Houma Police say Ryan Domangue sexually assaulted a teenaged girl while at a relative's house.
Investigators began looking into a complaint of a possible sexual assault that happened in January of this year at a house on Lewald Drive in Houma. During their investigation, officers learned that Domangue began communicating with a girl who was visiting a friend at that home and later ended up performing oral sex on her.
Throughout the investigation, Houma Police detectives were in communication with Ryan Domangue in an attempt to get him to turn himself in. On Monday afternoon, Domangue surrendered to police. He's been booked with one count of Sexual Battery. He was transported to the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex where he was booked and jailed.
