Two of the hottest products at this year's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas were a tablet-friendly, potty-training seat for toddlers and a tablet designed for infants. Everyone knows kids love touch screens, so manufacturers are wasting no time catering to this youthful inclination.
The iPotty for iPad is a toilet-training potty that features an attached stand to securely hold an iPad 2, 3, or 4 for entertaining toddlers seated on the device. CTA Digital claims the Apple App Store already offers dozens of helpful potty-training apps and interactive books that work well with the device.
The iPotty stand can be rotated 360° to allow horizontal and vertical views. It can also be adjusted to three positions or removed entirely to adjust for storage.
A removable touch screen cover protects the tablet against messy hands and smudges, and the seat, inner potty bowl, and splash guard can be removed for easy cleaning. The iPotty converts to a child activity seat in seconds with the included seat cover.
CTA Digital is a NY-based accessory manufacturer for gaming and iPad peripherals, including the fantastic Pedestal Stand with T.P. Roll Holder for iPad. The CTA Digital's 2-in-1 iPotty with Activity Seat for iPad is currently available for pre-order on Amazon.com for $39.99.

Psst! You wanna buy a great smart phone for 50 bucks?
Imagine a smart phone that provides stunning images, amazing video, luxurious sound, and premium features yet costs for $150 less than the competition. There have to be drawbacks, right?
The Pantech Discover from AT&T doesn't appear to have many. The unit's gorgeous 4.8" high-definition display has 1,280 x 720 pixel HD resolution. Combined with a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core processor, 16 GB internal memory, 4G LTE networking, the unit plays movies, TV shows, and videos with stunning clarity.
With the Discover, you'll never find yourself huddling near a weak speaker trying to hear what's going on. The unit's dual 3D surround sound speakers offer a dynamic, full-bodied listening experience, including treble enhancement, bass boost, and a loudness maximization.
Having to apologize for a sub-optimal built-in camera is also unlikely. With a 12.6 MP camera with 4x zoom and an LED flash, the Discover lets you take panoramic, High Dynamic Range (HDR) images with multiple shutter modes and advanced editing features such as Best Face, allowing you to take great pictures in almost any situation.
Pantech's exclusive Easy Experience user interface also means you won't have to scroll all day to find what you're looking for. It eases first-time smart phone owners into the Android 4.0 ("Ice Cream Sandwich") world painlessly.
Near field communication (NFC) capabilities also makes it easy to share pictures, music, and documents with nearby friends, plus there's a memory card slot for extra storage.
The unit comes pre-loaded with useful applications, including AT&T's DriveMode that lets you limit the features of your phone when driving so you can stay focused on the road, while the MOG app lets you hear and download millions of songs no matter where you are.
To help you work smart, the ThinkFree app lets you create, view, edit, access and share documents, spreadsheets, and presentations, while Pantech's SwiftKey technology automatically corrects and predicts as you type. It's like a digital Swiss Army knife in your pocket!
Furthermore, unlike many smart phones, you won't find yourself constantly running low on battery. The Discover is powered by a removable 2,100 mAh Lithium Ion battery with up to 430 hours in standby mode and up to 10 hours of talk time.
The Pantech Discover is available at AT&T retailers for $49.99 with a two-year contract, subject to other terms and conditions. For more information, visit ATT.com.
