TPSO: Kentwood man kills wife, shots self

Kentwood, La. – Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards says a Kentwood man shot his wife in an apparent murder suicide Tuesday.

Family members found the bodies of 30-year-old Jonathan Williams and 26-year-old Mallory Ricks Williams at a residence in the 17000 block of Highway 1057 in Kentwood.

Detectives believe Jonathan Williams shot his wife then shot and killed himself.

Investigators are still waiting for the final report from the coroner's office but are investigating the incident as a murder suicide.
