The Archbishop Rummel High School Raiders beat Barbe High School of Lake Charles 35 to 14 in earn the championship title.
Two Jefferson Parish sheriff's deputies escorted the ring representative to the school as he handed over the coveted rings to the school president, athletic director and head football coach.
This is Rummel's first state championship in football in its 49 year history.
