New Orleans, La. –More than 16,000 runners could take over New Orleans streets for the 2013 Rock ‘n' Roll Marathon on Sunday, February 24.
That means you need to be aware of parking restrictions leading up to and during the race.
Runners will make their way from the CBD, down St. Charles Avenue to Audubon Park. The race then travels back down St. Charles Avenue through the French Quarter on Decatur to Esplanade. Runners will wind their way down Esplanade to City Park then to the Lakefront and back.
There will be no parking allowed along the parade route started at midnight Saturday. Violators will be towed.
The marathon and half marathon both begin at 7:00 a.m. Sunday, February 24.
