New Orleans, La. - City Park is unveiling a new train just in time for the opening of the Carousel Gardens Amusement Park. The Black and Gold Train will join City Park's current two trains to take passengers along the two mile track that winds throughout the park.
The third train was needed to alleviate wait times for the second oldest ride in City Park's Carousel Gardens Amusement Park.
City Park's Carousel Gardens Amusement Park opens at 11am on March 2 for the spring season. The Amusement Park will be open Saturdays and Sundays 11am-6pm until the summer season kicks off.
The Black and Gold train will be in use on March 2 when the Carousel Gardens Amusement Park opens for the spring season.
