Louisiana Wild Game Benefit hopes to get children off the streets and in the woods

Local business owners are putting on an event to help get children off the streets.

The "Louisiana Wild Game Benefit" was created for the purpose of getting children and teens off the streets and in the woods; focusing on fun and exciting hobbies of enjoying the outdoors and wilderness.

Come out and enjoy delicious wild game dishes, live music, hunting demos and lots of fun. There will be door prizes and several raffles including a Blackjack boat valued at $55,000.

Tickets are $12 per person, $20 per couple and children 12 & under get in free. Your ticket includes a wild game dinner and live entertainment. The benefit is this Saturday, March 2nd from 11am-8pm at 501 Lapalco Blvd in Gretna.

Proceeds of the "Louisiana Wild Game Benefit" are dedicated to The Sunshine Kids, JPSO Band of Excellence and Outreach Ministry BLFC.
