New Orleans, La.- Police arrested 18-year-old Shawayne Sanders on Wednesday for the murder of 39-year-old Jose Presieado on March 30, 2012 in the 6800 block of Cindy Place.
Police found Presieado shot to death in the driver's seat of a Silver Nissan Altima in the early morning hours of March 30, 2012. Presieado was pronounced dead on the scene.
Investigators say a witness came forward and identified Sanders as the person responsible for the death of Presieado.
Sanders was booked into Central Lockup and charged with one count of second degree murder.
Police say Sanders was previously arrested for disturbing the peace and criminal damage to property. She also had an outstanding Municipal Attachment.
